Membership

The Genealogical Society of Allegany County, Maryland, has been in existence since 1976 and has 275 members from throughout the United States and Canada who can be helpful for networking. Your membership includes your spouse, provides you with our quarterly newsletter, and the opportunity to network and hear interesting speakers four times a year at our meetings plus the annual picnic in August and holiday luncheon in December.

The Genealogical Society meetings are held on the third Thursday of March, June, September,  and November at 1:30 p.m. in the Continuing Education Building at Allegany College of Maryland.
